Homecare Services
Many believe that only older people need assistance with in-homecare services, but that’s not the case. Senior citizens, disabled, post-surgery, and anyone over twenty-one years old may need help with choirs and activities of daily living.
No matter what the client is experiencing, our homecare services can make a big difference in the patient’s safety, comfort, ease, and even enjoyment of life.
Our qualified caregivers will ensure you or your loved ones get safely through the day.
They can prepare healthy meals, wash clothes, grocery shop, run errands, and do other chores. They help you schedule and assist you with getting to and from doctor appointments, remind you to take your medication, and, at the same time, keep your home clean and tidy.
And, of course, while providing the services listed above, the caregiver remembers to spend quality time with the patient. They often play games, watch TV, or chat about life. We encourage our caregivers to develop a special bond with the patient, where the caregiver is not just an employee but also a friend.
Our qualified caregivers will ensure you or your loved ones get safely through the day.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Homecare Assistance in Philadelphia, Bensalem & Bristol PA
People living with Alzheimer’s or dementia can feel extremely overwhelmed and can quickly become confused at any time, day or night.
The caregiver can help by creating a positive atmosphere in the home, helping the patient connect socially, reminiscing about life and their happy memories, and sometimes managing moments and memories difficult for the patient.
While you may want to be there for your family member living with this condition, understanding how important having a caregiver next to your loved one is and what having this caregiver can offer is essential.
Stay-at-Home can match Patients with Alzheimer's or dementia with experienced caregivers specializing in cognitive care. We prioritize creating a unique bond between the caregiver and the patient. So if, for any reason, the patient doesn't feel that connection with the caregiver, we will adjust and send another caregiver until we find the perfect fit.
Services Include:
Caregivers stimulate short-term memory through cognitive activities
Meals are prepared carefully if utensils are hard to manage
Managing moments of confusion, anxiety, and anger
Help reminisce about happy memories
Positive reinforcement and encouragement
Assistance in connecting socially with others
Our kind caregivers reintroduce themselves upon every arrival
Post Surgery & Rehab Homecare in Philadelphia, Bensalem & Bristol PA
Anyone who recently underwent surgery or underwent physical rehabilitation can request a caregiver to assist them with activities of daily living while they recover.
It's important to note that registered nurses are qualified to perform more intensive medical tasks such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, wound dressing, etc. We do not provide registered nurses here at Stay At Home Homecare.
These services are often requested and approved after a hospitalization or medical procedure requiring home recovery time. Once Medicare approves, a professional Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist can see the patient at home twice a week for an hour or two.
So, suppose you recently underwent surgery and/or physical rehabilitation, and Medicaid approves you for homecare services. In that case, we recommend choosing our caregivers in addition to the Physical Therapist you may be receiving through Medicare. Remember, a physical therapist can only see you two to three hours a week, while caregivers can help you with choirs at home every day.
Services Include:
Accompaniment to doctor’s appointments or physical therapy appointments
Assisting with daily activities while your aging loved one continues to gain strength and more
Picking up prescriptions, groceries, or other supplies
